How to Download and Transfer Music to an iPod

If you just got a new ipod, you probably want to know how it works dont you? Well with some easy steps, you will be enjoying all your music on your brand new device.

1. Create iTunes Account and Purchase Music

The first step in putting music on your ipod, is to purchase some music. To do this, you have to open up the application Itunes, and go to the Itunes store, and purchase all of your favorite songs.

2. Connect iPod to Computer

After you do this, your going to need to get your ipod, and the USB sync cable that came with it. This is the white cable that came in your ipod box. Connect one end to the bottom of your ipod, and the other end into the USB drive of your computer.

After a second, you ipod will show up on the screen. If it does not show up, then try the second step again. If it still does not show up, contact Apple over the phone, and they will help you solve your problem.

3. Sync with iTunes and Download Music To Your iPod

If you were successful in step two, then on the left of your screen, your ipod should have shown up under devices. Click on your ipod, and a new iTunes screen should show up, with syncing options for your ipod.

Click on music on the top, and check the box where it says sync all songs, unless you want to select specific songs that you want on your ipod. If you want to select specific songs, check the sync selected songs box. After this, click the "sycn" button on the bottom right of the screen, and the music will sync and download to your ipod!
