Security updates available for Adobe Reader

Even Adobe Reader is not safe from hackers! We yield this week’s SmallBizWebServices blog entry to Adobe’s Security Bulletin “Security updates available for Adobe Reader and Acrobat, Release date: February 16, 2010; Last updated: February 23, 2010;Vulnerability identifier: APSB10-07;;CVE numbers: CVE-2010-0188, CVE-2010-0186;Platform: All Platforms

This warning starts off “A critical vulnerability has been identified in Adobe Reader 9.3 for Windows, Macintosh and UNIX, Adobe Acrobat 9.3 for Windows and Macintosh, and Adobe Reader 8.2 and Acrobat 8.2 for Windows and Macintosh…”

These things happen, just be sure you are protected. Launch Adobe Reader (Start/All Programs/Adobe.. ) and check your settings on the Tool Bar under Edit/Preferences/Updater. Be sure you are getting the latest updates from Adobe!
